I put my Shiny Brite tree in the picture window this year. I love it here! It makes it kind of hard to get a good picture of it, but oh well. Y’all know that I love using things that belonged to my grandmothers and mama in my hone decor, and that is no different at Christmas time. The ornaments on this tree are vintage Shiny Brites that belonged to Mema - my daddy’s mother. The topper was hers as well! The tree is the Frosted Alpine for from @BalsamHill, and I started putting it in a large blue and white planter last year. It’s so perfect!

My memories tree is up! This tree is full of fun ornaments collected over time that all *mean* something to me! Ornaments from travels...ornament gifts from family and friends...the Christopher Radko ornaments my mama gave me every year...and more! It's my somewhat traditional tree with mostly red and greens, but I use lime green and add pops of turquoise and pink for a little twist! The actual tree is another @balsamhill - their 8' Balsam fir with both colored and white lights. This year I stuck a lot of random picks and stems in and added a traditioanl red and gold ribbon. The topper is paper star that I brought home from my time living in India!

This tree is located in the den which is on my project list for 2022 for a full re-vamp. I have some fun ideas, and I hope I am able to get it done in the near future!

This little spot in the dining room makes me so happy! For convenience, my main trees are artificial, but for the last year or two, I’ve picked up a cute little 3’ Fraser fir from Home Depot or Lowe’s so that I can have that fresh tree smell. This year I put it in my dining room in a blue and white pot with battery-operated, old-fashioned taper candles from @plowandhearth. I added Mama’s sugared fruit ornaments. Simple and festive!

Who else likes to add a little bit of Christmas to every room? These hand towels were recently given to me by a sweet longtime friend, and they look perfect in my very retro pink-tiled guest bath alongside a bowl of my grandmother's Christmas ornaments. I hosted a few of my #workfrands (the Bright Key Coordinators) for a little Christmas gathering last week and put together this adorable charcuter-tree a la @ainttooproudtomeg! I used my mom’s crystal tree serving platter instead of putting it on a board, and it turned out super cute. I’ll share Meg’s Reel in my stories so that you can make one, too, for a future holiday gathering! It’s super easy to do and looks incredibly impressive.

There are quite a few of my favorite things in this picture…the @jim_shore_designs Santa that Mama gave me, all my Christmas flowers, coffee table design books, my Grannie’s carnival glass and vintage ornaments, and some of my @fitzandfloydofficial Winter Holiday collection. Mama gave me a place setting of the china each Christmas and birthday starting when I was 15. She was very smart to do that because, by they time I had my own home, I had a collection of 10 place settings of formal Christmas china.

But one of my absolute favorite things is the photo of Papa Milton dressed as Santa with my mama and uncle sitting on his lap!

Anna (@annashelley30) and I set this table tonight for a quick breakfast for dinner with a few friends. We used some of my @fitzandfloydofficial Winter Holiday and Johnson Brothers Old Britain Castles along with Mama’s gold flatware and gold-rimmed glasses. The tablecloth, napkins and reindeer Fitz & Floyd candleholders were Grannie’s. We collected camellias and red berries from the yard to add a natural element. We have so much throwing together quick tablescapes.

The Christmas decor is slowly starting to come down, and the house rearranged to be a cozy, winter escape. Although we don’t have much cold here in South Alabama, today has been mighty wintry! Sister girl loves to cozy up on the very top of a pillow, and lately she's been partial to this one in my $15 granny chic Marketplace chair. I think she likes to sit next to my grandma's vintage @cocacola Santa. He's missing his belt and the Coke bottle in his hand is a little worse for wear, but having this little guy in my home reminds me of all the Christmases I spent playing with him at my grandparents' house.
