I made these back in 2021 and have been able to use them year after year! I had seen so many cute paper bag stars the previous year and really wanted to make some, but I didn’t want to wait until Christmas (2021) to make them. So I decided to create DIY Patriotic Paper Bag Stars for the 4th of July! At first, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to find red and blue paper bags, but after a little research, and comparing a few different brands, I found a brand I love. They arrived in great shape, are thick, and work well for this project. I decided to save a few dollars and order a cheaper brand of white paper bags, and this turned out to be a bad idea! The white bags weren’t in as pristine shape and were much thinner, which means they rip easier. Plus, they have black ink labels on one side of them and on the bottom. Since then I have found better white bags that I’ve used for other DIYs and crafts. After I’m done using them each year, I carefully pull them apart in one place (which is easy because it's only glued with a glue stick) fold/flatten it like an accordion, and store it in my Independence Day storage box.
