Let’s go horse riding in the cold 🥶 One of my best decisions I have ever made was to take up horse riding again. I grew up with our own horses and showjumping was a big passion of mine back in Sweden. But as life does, it gets in the way and we at times have to give up certain things for others. And I missed it terribly! So when I moved out to Surrey from London, I decided this was the time to get back in the saddle again. I’m taking private lessons once a week, come rain or shine. And at the moment it’s pretty chilly out there. So I have gone all in with thermal breeches, merino wool socks, I have a lined jumper, padded gloves and my gorgeous insulated riding boots to keep me warm. I really love how this look keeps me toasty and looks smart at the same time! Today I jumped Jingles, I have only ridden her a couple of times before and it was our first ever jumping session. She is an ex-eventer, perfect for me who loves cross country! I’m slowly building my skills back up again with the goal of getting a sharer and maybe even eventually competing for fun again. We will see where it goes! LTKSeasonal LTKWatchNow LTKOver40
