I believe I’ve found the perfect wide width loafer! It looks good for work but can dress up for evening, it comes in regular and wide, and it’s on sale for less than $60!! Oh and it’s comfortable right out of the box!

In high school I saw a woman on a soap opera in a silk blouse that looked like a stained glass window and it was all shades of blue, purple, and green. I have wanted a similar blouse ever since. I’ve bought a few over the years that had a similar vibe but this one from Boden is almost an exact match! Obsessed!

I paired it with an old pair of navy satin pants from Universal Standard though this blouse would also work with black.

Top is a 14 regular, pants are XS and hemmed to a shorter length. Boots last year but I linked to similar and linked to exact or similars for all my silver jewelry

I think one of the most fun and festive ways to style an ugly Christmas sweater is to pair it with a sequined skirt. The longer the skirt the more you should tuck it in. Add black tights and boots for a continuous leg line to lengthen but also to stay warm yet still dressy

Please excuse the gum chewing… 😬 while the teens were doing what teens do at the mall, I headed to @cpk for spinach artichoke dip and a glass of Sav Blanc and was trying to remove the effects while embarrassing my kid in Urban Outfitters filming my OOTD while lip syncing to One Direction…

We braved the mall before Christmas and survived to tell the tale. I dressed for function not fashion in comfortable clothes that wouldn’t get destroyed from try ons and wouldn’t have this perimenopausal mama overheat.

Thanks to these two products I have longer and lusher lashes than I did in my 20s! I love this clean beauty mascara; it’s a tubing mascara so no flaking or smudging. A must for us over 40 women. And this lash growth serum also works on brows!

Braved the crowds at the mall to be a chauffeur for teens and pick up a few stocking stuffers.

Sweater is XXL but a couple of years old and has been through the dryer once or twice. Still for sale and linked here.

Pants are new; went with 16 petite. I always bring a big leather tote to the mall so I don’t need shopping bags and it doubles as my purse.

These clogs are so comfy right out the box; I wear with striped wool socks. I wore them to the mall to make potential fitting room try-ons easier.

Gold feels like an obvious choice with gold which is why I went with silver. It’s good to switch it up; it often increases your style quotient!

From matching family pajamas to travel, those who sleep hot and those who love washable everyday elegance, I can’t recommend these Printfresh pajamas enough. So soft, washable, cooling, size inclusive, ethical, and a great range of prints and matching robes etc. if in doubt size down; I am wearing XL and had to cinch the waistband to keep them up and they don’t shrink in the laundry.

Color me OBSESSED! I visited my local @talbotsofficial to check out the Cyber Monday sale of 50% off and fell in love with the Talbots Confetti Plaid coat and matching a-line skirt. Talk about classic modern style; this is chic now and will remain chic for years to come.

I am 5’3” and a 14/16 and found the XLP coat (it comes in Misses, Petite, Plus Size, and Plus Petite) and the skirt in 16P (it comes in Misses, Petite, and Plus) fit me best.
