- And the Governor of the beautiful state of Georgia was a former naval submarine lieutenant turned peanut farmer.

Jimmy Carter is the quintessential example of how reasonable people can disagree on important issues…yet still recognize that there is something beautiful in that other person.

May we all strive to follow his example.
