Original fit super puff (see the snug fit in a separate post)

• Aritzia super puff mid length winter coat in xxs -

compared to the “super snug” puffer coat in taupe that I showed, this is their same length coat but in the original, less fitted cut. Torso and sleeves are looser. I have plenty of room to layer in this xxs.

This also comes in a glossy black color, which is a chic update to regular black. The glossy has an option for a removable faux fur hood as well.

Aritzia super puffer coats are filled with down with a water and wind resistant outer shell. The coats are very lightweight and felt toasty during my try on.

Aritzia super puff down puffer guide:

• length: they have short, Mid, and Long. I am 5 feet tall and mid hits me as shown, as a nice versatile length.

• fit: they have original or Snug. Snug is fitted on me and slim in the arms too.

If you like chunky layers and looser silhouettes underneath, then their more popular option is the original super puff which is less fitted in the torso and sleeves.

• material: Material is a lightweight down fill with a wind and water resistant outer, and is machine washable

• this is the Mid length snug puffer coat in modern taupe xxs.

TTS for Aritzia (which runs smaller than other brands) and fitted on me so I sized up to a 0. Thicker weight material and fully lined.

Fabric does show some creasing after sitting down so I’d suggest a darker color which usually masks wrinkles better.

• Essentials belt xxs. Great basic I have in black and chocolate

• Trying on their slouchy straight pants (runs big) which have a looser, more relaxed fit. Like most Madewell pants these run big at the waist so I have them belted.   Size 00 petite measures 13.75” across waist, 10.5” rise, 27” inseam. After checking these measurements

I’m surprised it’s that long since I would usually need a low heel with 27” long pants, so I feel it’s something about the cut and how the pant leg opening pools well around the flats here!

beautiful softer leather style, brown color, and chic low little heel. Also comes in wide calf.

FYI that boot calf width and height will increase as the shoe size goes up. These are a slightly slouchier leather, looser fit on me around the calf (I have very narrow 12.5” circumference wide calves, for fit reference) . But they do hit below my knees.

The Sam Edelman pair linked was slightly taller at the shaft and slightly narrower at the calf than this pair.

On me:
•jcrew Slim wide jeans in resin rinse sz 24 petite.

I love the color and cut of these. after wearing for a while I think the version with no sailor front pocket (also linked) would be more versatile

The sailor pockets are great with a simple top or sweater, but I’ve noticed that many of my jackets and sweaters also have front pockets so don’t pair well with sailor front jeans.

Resin rinse is a beautiful classic dark wash and this cut is one of jcrews best options for petites - straight cut without being too wide.

Women can wear the bigger sizes as you can see in the customer reviews. I tried the kids 13 and it was a little loose on me and longer than how I like my mini skirts
