• Essentials belt xxs. Great basic I have in black and chocolate

• Trying on their slouchy straight pants (runs big) which have a looser, more relaxed fit. Like most Madewell pants these run big at the waist so I have them belted.   Size 00 petite measures 13.75” across waist, 10.5” rise, 27” inseam. After checking these measurements

I’m surprised it’s that long since I would usually need a low heel with 27” long pants, so I feel it’s something about the cut and how the pant leg opening pools well around the flats here!

• bomber jacket in light birch xxs - Petite friendly fit with some structured shoulder padding that I thought made it extra chic. Very cute with loose or wide leg jean.

• Levi’s baggy dad jeans 24x28 - heads up these are actually pretty short in length!

Which I love as someone 5ft tall, but I make sure not to put mine in the dryer. These are non stretch with a relaxed loose fit. They come in regular or cool performance fabric - I have on the latter which is a thinner, more fluid denim.

• J. Crew ballet flats 5.5 - I’ve had these for a few years, needed some breaking in but I love the classic shape, and wear with the linked socks

• Nordstrom leather kitten heel boots sz 5.5. These were too loose in the shaft for my calves but I wanted to share.

beautiful softer leather style, brown color, and chic low little heel. Also comes in wide calf.

FYI that boot calf width and height will increase as the shoe size goes up. These are a slightly slouchier leather, looser fit on me around the calf (I have very narrow 12.5” circumference wide calves, for fit reference) . But they do hit below my knees.

The Sam Edelman pair linked was slightly taller at the shaft and slightly narrower at the calf than this pair.

The no sailor pocket version of my jeans is on sale! Beautiful dark resin rinse

On me:
•jcrew Slim wide jeans in resin rinse sz 24 petite.

I love the color and cut of these. after wearing for a while I think the version with no sailor front pocket (also linked) would be more versatile

The sailor pockets are great with a simple top or sweater, but I’ve noticed that many of my jackets and sweaters also have front pockets so don’t pair well with sailor front jeans.

Resin rinse is a beautiful classic dark wash and this cut is one of jcrews best options for petites - straight cut without being too wide.

• Levi’s Ribcage jeans 24x27 in “in the middle” wash - ultra high rise and a relaxed straight leg. looks cropped on the model but is full length and works with flats for me!

• Oak and fort trench coat xxs - use code JEANTRENCH for 20% off! Very loose fit (runs big), hits past midi length on me (5 ft). Despite being big, I wear this all the time! The material has a nice weight and drapes well, and the style is perfectly effortless. I usually wear it open with the belt tied tightly in the back. Sleeves are a little long but you can use the wrist cinches which helps! I’ve machine washed this trench coat on a gentle cycle and hung dry with no issues.

• Essentials belt xxs. Great basic I have in black and chocolate suede

• Trying on their slouchy straight pants which have a looser, more relaxed fit. Like most Madewell pants these run big at the waist so I have them belted.   Size 00 petite measures 13.75” across waist, 10.5” rise, 27” inseam. After checking these measurements I’m surprised it’s that long since I would usually need a low heel with 27” long pants, so I feel it’s something about the cut and how the pant leg opening pools well around the flats here!
