If you haven’t heard, Subak Hwachae is the newest viral recipe and for good reason. Subak hwachae (수박화채) is a Korean dessert drink that is made with watermelon 🍉 and other fruits! It is enjoyed on hot summer days and is popular because of how easy and inexpensive it is to make! Make this recipe with me! You’ll need to cut up a watermelon and assorted fruits that you like! I chose strawberries, honey dew, blueberries, and peaches. I also put some coconut jelly and some fruit cocktail in the mix. Next, add lots of ice! I used different shapes and sizes for fun. Then pour in some milk (I used strawberry milk but you can also use Milkis- a Korean soft drink that’s like a fizzy milk, I highly recommend it!) and add some sprite or ginger ale! Measure with your heart and to taste. Then mix and enjoy! It’s incredibly refreshing! This recipe was inspired by all the TikTok videos I’ve been seeing on my FYP recently. I watched a few but @katiecung made me really want to try it!
