I’m all about green this holiday season. And I’ve been living in this cashmere sweater. Here’s how I’m making it festive for day to night:

☀️ Daytime: So glad skinny jeans are back! Pairing a cozy tunic with slim pants lets you look chic while indulging in that extra slice of pie. I added a denim trench and navy suede boots for a polished take on the double denim trend.

🌙 Night: These cropped faux-leather pants are my favorite—I own them in five colors! The leather finish dresses up the look while staying comfy. I tucked and bloused the tunic for shape, then added velvet heels, sparkly earrings and a pop of leopard for a festive touch.

Mixing and matching is so much easier when everything complements each other. My aunt and niece are obsessed with pink, so this trip, I went with a palette of green, pink, and black (plus a few neutrals like white and denim)—perfect for day-to-night looks.

I love saving time on the trip, so I always plan and style my looks before packing. I’ll even snap photos of each outfit so I can just pull them up while I’m traveling!

Last minute Halloween costume…. The theme? Nintendo. The prep time? Just 1 day! So we went all in on the puns:

👸🏻 Princess Peach: Printed a peach, added crystals, pinned it to a necklace, slipped on a dress, and topped it with my tiara from last year’s costume. Easy, chic, and a little extra sparkle!

🦍 Donkey Kong: Crafted a Kong necklace with dog toys on a chain, painted a DK $ sign, added crystals, and threw on a donkey onesie from a box costume.

This weekend we went to Halgloween at @sdzoo. Some people wore costumes, others dressed in regular clothing. I had everyone glow in the dark! 🎃

Preston was all about wearing a glow-in-the-dark sweatsuit (bonus: it makes it so much easier to see your kiddos at night!). The adults weren’t as eager, so I made things easy for them with glow-in-the-dark headbands and stickers (I did pandas to celebrate Yun Chuan and Xin Bao). 🐼

I wish I had video to show you how cool everyone looked in the dark, but we had such a blast that I (gasp) didn’t even remember to take out my phone! 🙈

I planned on creating a colorful kid friendly porch for fall, painting craft pumpkins at our pumpkin painting party. But as the hostess, I ran out of time. Turns out, I couldn’t be happier! The white pumpkins are in line with my love for neutral decor. And my son loves rearranging them every day when we get home. Maybe next year, we’ll add a splash of color.

With baby came baby hairs (and breakage). My flyaways were everywhere, and I’d tried so many products. Some were sticky, others too scented… until I found the holy grail: Smooth Stick. It’s like clear mascara, but for hair. Just swipe it on flyaways, and they’re gone! 🪄
