I planned on creating a colorful kid friendly porch for fall, painting craft pumpkins at our pumpkin painting party. But as the hostess, I ran out of time. Turns out, I couldn’t be happier! The white pumpkins are in line with my love for neutral decor. And my son loves rearranging them every day when we get home. Maybe next year, we’ll add a splash of color.

To keep my little one from rearranging our main tree, I set up a special mini tree just for him. I chose a battery-operated tree so he can safely turn the lights on and off. And I embraced this year’s Bowmas trend with a car-themed bow topper to stay on theme. 🚗🎀

For ornaments, I simply tied twine around affordable white, red, and green toy cars. After the holidays, we can remove the twine, and he can add them to his collection! 🏎️

We had a blast decorating together over breakfast, and now he loves sharing his meals with the reindeer beside his tree! 🦌

☀️ Daytime: Winter white has been one of my favorite ways to wear cream sweaters for years. I styled it with velveteen pants and added metallic touches to play with texture—perfect for a holiday brunch with friends.

🌙 Night: I like to balance the sweetness of the bows with something edgier, like (faux) leather. A fringe bag brings a playful factor to the look for a festive night out.

I’m all about a good cardigan set, especially one that’s toddler-proof. Cashmere is gorgeous, but let’s be real—it’s not exactly toddler-friendly. Enter these super soft, affordable and (most importantly) machine washable sets. I loved them so much, I got two!

☀️ Daytime: Perfect for seeing Santa at the mall with my son! When it warmed up, I ditched the coat. And thank goodness this set is easy to clean—PJ needed a chocolate lollipop before meeting the big guy, which meant mama got very sticky.

🌙 Night: Monochromatic looks make everything look more polished. Since my sweater set and skirt don’t match perfectly, I used a belt to break up the colors. Adding pearls and polka dots gave the look a festive, playful vibe for the holidays.

This weekend we went to Halgloween at @sdzoo. Some people wore costumes, others dressed in regular clothing. I had everyone glow in the dark! 🎃

Preston was all about wearing a glow-in-the-dark sweatsuit (bonus: it makes it so much easier to see your kiddos at night!). The adults weren’t as eager, so I made things easy for them with glow-in-the-dark headbands and stickers (I did pandas to celebrate Yun Chuan and Xin Bao). 🐼

I wish I had video to show you how cool everyone looked in the dark, but we had such a blast that I (gasp) didn’t even remember to take out my phone! 🙈
