Creamy cheesy orzo *instant pot*
Ingredients:
2 cups chicken broth/bone broth
1.5 cups uncooked orzo
1/2 cup diced white onion
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup heavy cream
Parsley for garnish
Recipe:
In your instant pot on the sauté setting, add your oil butter and onion, sauté till translucent then add in your garlic and stir for a few more seconds. Add in your broth and seasoning and bring to a simmer then add in your orzo. Cancel the sauté setting on your instant pot and seal your lid/close the vent. Set the pressure cook timer to 4 minutes. Once the timer is done turn your valve so that it’s venting and then release the lid when steam is no longer coming out. Add in your cheese and heavy cream, stir until melted/combined and then garnish with parsley. Enjoy!
