Comment CHICKEN for the recipe! 🐔 Y’all know Chicken & Dumplings are an art if you’re from the South! I know there are a few different ways to make it, and we all probably do it a bit differently. This is how my family likes it, and it’s as easy as can be! I use homemade bone broth, but you can absolutely use store-bought. RECIPE ⬇️ 5-6 Chicken Legs 6 Cups Bone Broth 1 cooked carrot, mashed up 1 can of refrigerator biscuits, quartered Salt and pepper to taste 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning In a pot of boiling broth, cook your chicken legs. Once they come to 165 degrees internally, take them out and remove the meat from the bone. Add the meat and a cooked carrot to the broth. Add your seasonings, then add your cut up biscuits. Let it simmer on low until the biscuits are completely cooked and the soup is creamy, about 30 minutes. Enjoy!! LTKHome
