Comment RECIPE for the full recipe! π This timeless classic uses fresh, high quality ingredients, and which brings this dish to the next level! This reminds me of the spaghetti and meatballs I used to get at a (now closed) restaurant just outside of Grand Central Station in NYC, Naples 45. I loved recreating this classic! RECIPE: Meatballs: 1 pound lean ground beef 1/2 white onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons fresh parsley 1 tablespoon fresh thyme 1 egg 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard 3 pieces of day old sourdough, pulled apart and soaked in 1/2 cup milk for 10 minutes Sauce: Brown your meatballs in a good olive oil on medium heat. Once browned, top with a jar of Carbone marinara (or Arrabiata for spicy), then about half a jar of water. Let simmer for 30 minutes to an hour. Serve with fresh pasta and Parmesan cheese!
