Love love LOVE all your guesses about the secret project we’ve been working on. A pet wash/flower room mash-up is the space of Domino’s & my dreams! All the 🏆🏆🏆 to those of you who guessed bunk room (some with insider intel!), which has been at the tippy-top of my wishlist since we first began house hunting in Nashville four years ago. Given my children’s ages & our many out-of-town friends, packs of young overnight guests are a frequent occurrence. Having a dedicated space for them to stay comfortably is truly a dream come true! We already had a finished basement, which has heretofore been a playroom/video game lounge/foosball parlor, so converting it into a bunk room was the natural choice. A huge piece of this project is building a full bathroom so it’s a truly guest-ready space. The vibe we’re going for is classic New England summer camp, a little old school, featuring striped tile for FUN.
