Our dining room is really coming together ✨

When we bought our house the first thing we did was paint which helped A TON but then it was pretty slow going decorating and getting the house set up (I mean we did move in the week our son was born so I think it’s understandable 🤪).

BUT our dining room is finally looking like a real dining room! The last month we’ve added a rug and a new chandelier and it made such a huge difference. Swipe right to see the where we started!

I can hardly believe there is only 5 days until Christmas!! We did the majority of our Christmas dinner grocery shopping yesterday and I’m so excited for our meal! We’re making prime rib, Yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach - YUM!

I have loved watching this “kid tree” come to life for Waylon 🥹 it felt so surreal putting ornaments I got when I was pregnant with him on the tree. What ornament should I get for him this year?!

I can’t believe that in one short month I’ll have a one year old… thank goodness for traditions like these with ornaments filled with memories I can look back on for years to come.

I’ve got a simple fall tablescape for you this Thursday!

No we aren’t having anyone over... but there is something so nice about having your table decorated! When you walk through our garage door this is the first thing you see, so might as well make it something that makes your smile 😊

I love this tablescape because it literally took me 15 minutes to bring together and will look just as beautiful once the greenery dries out (who else is obsessed with @traderjoes greenery?).

We will be hosting Thanksgiving with my parents this year so I’ve got some time to figure out what that tablescape will look like, but for now this is bringing just a little bit more joy into my day!

IT’S FALL YALL!

I’m SO happy with how this DIY turned out! I’ve been slowly working on it over the last few weeks and it’s finally done!

For those of you who have been around for a while you might recognize this branch from last years fall DIY (swipe to see what it looking liked last year!). Since then it’s gone under quite a few transformations but this one is by far my favorite!!

For the branch (that we cut down from our backyard) we sanded it down and then bleached it several times to get the current look. Then I used it as the base for my macrame piece and made the orange garland from dried oranges and wood beads.
