Our dining room is ALWAYS evolving!! I can’t believe how many changes we’ve had!

Our dining room is really coming together ✨

When we bought our house the first thing we did was paint which helped A TON but then it was pretty slow going decorating and getting the house set up (I mean we did move in the week our son was born so I think it’s understandable 🤪).

BUT our dining room is finally looking like a real dining room! The last month we’ve added a rug and a new chandelier and it made such a huge difference. Swipe right to see the where we started!

I can hardly believe there is only 5 days until Christmas!! We did the majority of our Christmas dinner grocery shopping yesterday and I’m so excited for our meal! We’re making prime rib, Yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach - YUM!

To be honest I was being a real negative Nancy yesterday because I have to work Friday and Saturday... this is the first year in 4 years that I’ve spent with family for the holidays and I was bummed that I won’t actually get to spend that much time with them.

Yes it sucks and I wish I didn’t have to work, but I’m so thankful that I got to spend all of thanksgiving day with my family. It was turkey the best day ever.

I’ve got a simple fall tablescape for you this Thursday!

No we aren’t having anyone over... but there is something so nice about having your table decorated! When you walk through our garage door this is the first thing you see, so might as well make it something that makes your smile 😊

I love this tablescape because it literally took me 15 minutes to bring together and will look just as beautiful once the greenery dries out (who else is obsessed with @traderjoes greenery?).

We will be hosting Thanksgiving with my parents this year so I’ve got some time to figure out what that tablescape will look like, but for now this is bringing just a little bit more joy into my day!

The Fall decor continues! This time I’m doing a simple Fall tablescape with lots of fresh greenery and pumpkins 🎃

It’s funny how long it took me to decide what to do here. I kept moving things around and nothing was working. Good thing my go-to is always some fresh greenery with minimal decor, there’s just something about it that feels like home.

The best part about this tablescape is that I reused my placemats, plates and napkins from my summer tablescape so all I had to do was buy some fresh greenery and pumpkins from TJ’s! I know people sometimes hate using fresh florals in their tablescape because it won’t last long, but this greenery dries so beautifully that you can leave it up even after it’s past its prime!
