Here are 5 items that often go overlooked but are ideal for dorm life, apartment life, and beyond! I found all of these at @walmart and here’s why you need them: 1. Slim hangers-hanging space is at a premium in dorms. Get these! 2. One of the excuses for not doing laundry is it’s too hard to get the dirty clothes to the laundry room. This wheeled hamper also has an extendable handle to make it super easy to roll right to the laundry room. I even have one in my house! 3. They won’t clean their room often, but this stick vac makes it easy to do right before parent’s weekend and move out. Plus, it’s a great way to make friends if someone needs to borrow the vacuum! 4. I can’t recommend enough to partially loft their bed so there’s more storage space underneath. We did that for both of our boys and used these plastic drawers to give them even more hidden storage. Plus they took the drawers with them to their college apartments! 5. There are never enough outlets-this revolving surge protector power tower has 6 outlets and 4 usb ports! It’s so good that my husband got one for all of his musical equipment.
