1. I’m so excited for this latest release from Victoria Emerson in
collaboration with my dear friends
Kelli & Christina (Mommies Makeup and Moscato). They’re selling out fast-grab this stack for $34 while you can!

2. I've been looking for more statement necklaces and this one comes in with a subtle statement at $13!! It looks WAY more expensive! I got a lot of compliments on it in person, too!

3. I ordered these grey corduroy pants with silver glitter from Talbots and they are SO pretty! Perfect for any casual holiday events you may have coming up-and they also come in black. I got them in a size 2 petite.

4. This product seems like a re-formulation or relaunch of my favorite YSL lip product from years ago. I bought it in the shade Nude Lavalier and now I need at least one more color. Line and fill in your lips with your favorite lip pencil, layer this product on top, and a bit of gloss and you'll have lip color all day long!

5. This has been the biggest hit in my house! Both dogs love their new toy AND it's vet recommended. It keeps Rowdy busy for at least an hour and it's also quiet!!

This Week’s Favorites:

1. This pet stroller (works for dogs & cats) has made it possible for me to take our 12 ½ year old Westie who is mostly blind and a bit deaf on our family walks. The bassinet can fully close with a screen panel on the front and back and detaches to also be used as a car seat. It’s under $70!!

2. I wore this lightweight cozy knit hoodie 2 days in a row! Wearing an XS (true size) for a less oversized fit.

3. Fall temps are here so I brought out my favorite loafers! Size down ½ size.

4. We host a lot more in the fall, so I finally ordered this charcuterie tray. The quality is fantastic and it would also make a great holiday or housewarming gift!

5. If you love the feel of a lip balm but want more color, these Butterglow balms from Lancome are AMAZING! I’ve been wearing the shade Mixed Berries for some fall color.

1. Collared Lounge Set-very much inspired by Spanx AirEssentials but pants have pockets and the size and color options are spectacular (plus the cost is way better).

2. I’m in a more glowy finish phase for my complexion-this is a perfect compromise and can be made more glowy with highlighters or toned down with powder. My shade is Fair-Light.

3. Have this blazer/pea coat in Navy Small and love it so much I ordered it in this Khaki shade in an XS. If you want an oversized fit, size up one.

4. Been wearing my hair wavy again and this curling iron is my favorite-I bought it three different barrel sizes!

5. Even stuffed to 48 pounds, I could wheel this large hard sided suitcase with two fingers through the airport!

Looks like a nice, overcast fall day, right? Sadly, we’re still knocking on almost 90° here in south central Texas. I am dying to get into my cozy fall clothes, but until then, cozy summer clothes it is! I’m on my way for my first follow up eye appointment since I stopped treatment for uveitis. Fingers crossed it’s still looking good-literally!

I’m trying to share not just my daily outfits, but what I did while wearing them. Yesterday my husband and I went to vote (early voting started on Monday in Texas) and we spent about an hour waiting in line, chatting with other voters, enjoying the fall weather, voting, then hiking through a drainage culvert and up a hill to get back to our car. Tip for my fellow Americans: wear comfortable shoes and a crossbody bag when you hit the polls this year! My mesh shoes worked out great (size up ½ size) and I’m glad I had the strap for this bag with me so I could have my hands free. I saw a lot of people also brought books with them to pass the time-so leave your book recommendations in the comments too!

This 100% cotton premium denim shirt dress is so fun! I love the jeans style buttons that go all the way to the hem, the contrast stitching throughout the dress, the slight a-line shape from the waist down, AND IT HAS POCKETS! It runs true to size but there’s no stretch, so keep that in mind if you don’t care for a fitted waist. It’s not a heavy fabric, but it’s a perfect transition piece for summer to fall. I think this is a great teacher dress too! This one is guaranteed to sell out!

Starting the week off right in this all denim look! I shared the blouse in stories last week and the response was overwhelming! It looks great both tucked and untucked and I’m wearing it in a size XS. Get it for 15% off with code GOLD15. The jeans are part of @walmart’s pre-fall collection and they’ve released them in several washes. I’m wearing the darkest option in size 2. They’re very stretchy and lightweight. I love that the wide cuff isn’t actually extra fabric folded over but just material sewn on the hemline so it doesn’t add bulk to my lower legs. Added a cozier fall vibe by adding accessories in a rich brown. Who else is excited for fall?!

Three summer looks that I am loving right now-and they're all from @lovechicos! 1. I love the deep olive color and intricate embroidery detail on this tiered maxi dress-plus it has pockets! The belt is removable so you can swap it out with a leather belt to dress this up even more! 2. I always have a tencel/chambray dress in my summer arsenal-and this one is cut beautifully so you're not overwhelmed by fabric. Also love that has pockets! 3. Does this look like a denim skirt? COMPLETE MORNING AND EVENING SKINCARE ROUTINE

I have dry, sensitive, reactive skin that’s almost 51 years old, and these are the products I’ve been using for awhile for my everyday skincare routine.

MORNING
1. Soothing Toner-really preps the skin for any active ingredients you’re going to apply later (like acids, vitamin c, etc). Use code GOLDGIRL20 to get 20% off.

4. This is a super rich moisturizer that I love for fall/winter months and when I travel.

5. My preference is an SPF with 50, but at least 40+. I have a few I’m rotating through so I’ll link them all.

EVENING

6. This moisturizer is great for dry skin or if you’re dealing with dry patches. It works overnight and leaves skin really prepped for makeup the next day. It’s not heavy feeling at all-good for year round use.

Wore this for brunch, a museum tour and then out to dinner in Houston yesterday. I did throw on a coat (linked) because it was COLD but it’s not in the picture. I know I have a small window left to wear sweaters (it’s going to be 85° on Thursday!) so I’m trying to get all the wears I can! I love the double wide cuff look on these jeans but the trick is they’re not really cuffed-it’s all one layer of material-so it’s not heavy or bulky around my lower legs. There have already been restocks of these jeans so I’m hoping if they’re not available in your size that they will be!
