Give me all the silver and black-so I can cheer on our San Antonio Spurs to a win over the Timberwolves! These three pieces happen to be from a holiday collection but they’re perfect for game nights too! Little details you might not see from the photos: the faux leather jacket has a ruffle peplum hem, the sequin shirt is a short sleeve tee and the jeans have the tiniest black crystals scattered throughout the fabric. I’m wearing the jacket and tee in an XS and the jeans in a 2 regular length. I wanted them in the short but they weren’t available so I just cuffed them-I may just cut the hem later! When your date night location includes live music and goats…you go casual! We’re still kind of in between seasons here, so I went with light knit layers-a sweater tank and a knit double zip cardigan that’s a mesh fabrication. We order our weekly groceries online from @walmart, but we were near Whole Foods and decided to run in and take a look around…two full grocery bags later we may have bought a “few” things. 😆 They definitely have quite a selection of ready to eat type meals that are great for an empty-nester couple who don’t necessarily want to cook every night! Seeing two of my favorite all time artists perform in one night was a dream come true! Seeing them from the 9th row was INTENSE! We went to see Sting and Billy Joel with 70,000 of our closest friends last night and I’m still hearing the music in my head. It was like reliving the soundtrack of my adolescence!

4. This product seems like a re-formulation or relaunch of my favorite YSL lip product from years ago. I bought it in the shade Nude Lavalier and now I need at least one more color. Line and fill in your lips with your favorite lip pencil, layer this product on top, and a bit of gloss and you'll have lip color all day long!

5. This has been the biggest hit in my house! Both dogs love their new toy AND it's vet recommended. It keeps Rowdy busy for at least an hour and it's also quiet!!

When you get invited to the opening of a @susiecakes location in your town, you go! I had the pleasure of not only being able to bring my son along to a “work event”, but I also got to meet the actual Susie! She was absolutely lovely and we found out we had a lot in common-we grew up about 5 minutes away from each other! The cakes were spectacular. The coconut was my husband and son’s favorite but I’m a vanilla girl through and through and their vanilla cake was incredible. Note to my husband-order my birthday cake from here!! 🎂

I’m trying to share not just my daily outfits, but what I did while wearing them. Yesterday my husband and I went to vote (early voting started on Monday in Texas) and we spent about an hour waiting in line, chatting with other voters, enjoying the fall weather, voting, then hiking through a drainage culvert and up a hill to get back to our car. Tip for my fellow Americans: wear comfortable shoes and a crossbody bag when you hit the polls this year! My mesh shoes worked out great (size up ½ size) and I’m glad I had the strap for this bag with me so I could have my hands free. Here’s the story: Went out on a casual date night to a local wine/outdoor music spot that also has a field with llamas next door (only in Texas). Couldn’t get the llamas in the pic but the outfit is a fave! The top is a soft cozy knit with a boatneck and the jeans are my go to trouser jeans. 1. This pet stroller (works for dogs & cats) has made it possible for me to take our 12 ½ year old Westie who is mostly blind and a bit deaf on our family walks. The bassinet can fully close with a screen panel on the front and back and detaches to also be used as a car seat. It’s under $70!!

2. I wore this lightweight cozy knit hoodie 2 days in a row! Wearing an XS (true size) for a less oversized fit.

3. Fall temps are here so I brought out my favorite loafers! Size down ½ size.

4. We host a lot more in the fall, so I finally ordered this charcuterie tray. The quality is fantastic and it would also make a great holiday or housewarming gift!
