Feeling like the 💃🏼 emoji in this red dress! Our synagogue hosted the Air Force Band for a mini concert last night and we were encouraged to wear red, white and blue. Where to go after a spray tan when you can’t put on makeup for awhile? The movies! I wanted to wear clothes that were soft, covered my arms and legs (for the most part) and were cozy enough to sit in for the 2 hour+ movie we were headed to watch. I grabbed my cashmere throw because it’s ALWAYS cold in the movies and I definitely needed it. We went to see the new Reagan movie and it was fantastic! I was surprised how emotional I was at the end-we all know how it ends! Definitely recommend if you haven’t seen it yet!

Wore this outfit last night to an Eastern Mah Jong class and we had the best time! I really want to re-learn American style and find a group to play with regularly, but until then, this works! This blouse has lots of fun details-there’s a hidden snap at the top to hold it together, ties at the neck that I like to leave open, and elastic at the hem to give it a tucked in look without having to tuck it in. It’s Labor Day Weekend, and everything I’m wearing is on sale (except the purse). The exact color of my top is sold out BUT it comes in 4 other options AND now it’s available in long sleeve as well. Are these my best pictures? No. But these are some of my favorite pics from our trip to Vermont because the day itself was GLORIOUS!! Also, this outfit worked so well for breakfast, playing tourist and then traveling back home (90 minute drive to Albany, flight from Albany to Chicago, layover in Chicago and then flight home to San Antonio).

Found the perfect fall transition dress-it’s a lightweight flannel with a flounce skirt, pockets, and comes in several plaid options. If it’s warmer out, wear it with sandals or ankle boots, if it’s colder, cover up with knee high boots and a jacket (I added a raincoat). Take it to a country concert by switching the boots to Western style. It’s under $17 and I’m wearing it in an XS.

This new find was the perfect travel day outfit-and it was a LONG day! Got up at 2:30 am, hit the road at 3 am for a 5:30 am flight to Albany, NY with a layover in Baltimore and then a 90 minute drive to our ultimate destination, Manchester, Vermont. I wore this ensemble to a very casual dinner on the back patio of the hotel and managed not to fall asleep face down in my salad. Wearing a size small in the track suit, shoes run true to size. We had one “fancy” dinner out in Vermont this week, a lovely evening at @reluctantpanther. I’m so glad I packed this gorgeous (and extremely comfortable) knit dress. Same outfit, slightly different as the day goes on! First, we visited a lake nearby to go paddle boating. It was closed but we enjoyed the scenery. It was also chilly so I threw on a jacket along with my rain boots. I forgot to show the sneakers I changed into for walking around the nearby town but I’ve linked them. Then it was out to dinner so I swapped the joggers for jeans and the rain boots and sneakers for booties. Our day didn’t go according to plan but we still had an amazing time!

Did you know that there are two “golden hours” each day that are ideal for taking pictures? I’m usually not up and about for the first one, but when you have an early flight home you might as well take advantage of some good light and get an outfit pic! See the golden light? 1. These INCREDIBLY soft suede loafers are soft on the inside too! Runs tts and I LOVE the rubber/gum sole for traction and a little height.

I can’t get Raffi’s “Mr. Sun” song out of my head! Who remembers that one from when the kids were little? We had a couple days of absolutely glorious weather while in the Chicago area-sunny skies and cooler temps-and it felt so good! Also good, actually great, are these wide cuffed jeans and ribbed tee.
