Beige and cream basics for a family outing to one of my favorite spots in San Antonio-The Historic Pearl. The outfit shots were taken in a newer section near the new Pullman Market and it’s beautiful in a very different way from the last slide, which is the river walk behind Hotel Emma. The whole property is magical and a must see-all year round! My sweater is a new find from Aritzia. It’s an oversized cable knit and it’s SO soft! Wearing a size XS. Jeans and coat are old favorites-I’ve linked the most current versions. I didn’t think I’d love the new platform style of Uggs but they grew on me-and they kept my toes toasty! When you’re going somewhere casual but you’re not sure if the occasion calls for something a little “more”, a great tip is to throw a blazer over a basic tee and jeans. Voila! Instantly it’s a little more “smart casual”. This scuba double breasted blazer can be worn on its own or you can add a few different zip in dickie options, just like the Veronica Beard blazer except mine is under $90! Sharing my Thanksgiving Day outfit with you because it works for lots of winter events you may have coming up. The dress is a short sleeve velvet that comes in so many beautiful colors and has a very forgiving elastic waist (note no pockets & size S). I added a merino wool collarless jacket for warmth (size XS) and similar tone suede boots (size down ½ size) to finish off the look.
