Layers are key for this time of year, especially in south Texas. This exact pajama print is out of stock but I have the set in 3 other prints and I just rotate through them. They’re 100% cotton poplin. I love them oversized so I size up one to a small, regular length. They also have petite and tall. I’ve really come to embrace monochromatic outfits to feel more put together. Their v-neck sweater is 40% off this week and comes in quite a few colors. It’s a closet staple, along with the cotton tee and the tencel joggers. I’m wearing the joggers in an XS but regular length. The petite is too short if you’re 5’4” tall. They’re great everyday size pants and also perfect for travel. If I was leaving the house I would swap the house shoes for actual loafers.

It’s a before and after post featuring my new fall/winter coat from Spanx and my new tote from Walmart. The first pic was taken as I was leaving for my hair appointment and the second is right afterward when I got home. Is there any better day than a hair day?! I’m still growing out some layers and we decided to see if I can grow it out longer for a bit.

The faux leather accents are also a nice touch and I wanted a jacket that covered my rear end. I brought some work to do while I was at the salon, hence the tote, and I love the size, the pockets, and all the little details like the faux leather trim and handles. Plus, in true Walmart fashion, it looks way more expensive than it is!!
