I just started my nursery shopping! After talking to many parents I know a glider or a recliner is a very important purchase and you’re going to use it a lot so I went to Crate and Barrel and Pottery Barn and started testing.
Babyletto Kiwi Cream Nursery Power Glider Recliner Chair is considered to be one of the best ones out there at the moment so I sat in it for quite a bit. I have to say it does glide very smoothly but I didn’t like how my back felt and it seems like it could be more comfortable for someone taller (that was my impression). Loved the fabric and the look though!
Ever Slipcovered Striped Nursery Glider Chair by Leanne Ford is the most beautiful nursery chair I’ve seen so far. When I was looking through baby room furniture I wanted to get everything from Leanne Ford’s collab with Crate and Barrel. I found it to be more comfortable to sit in than the Babyletto Kiwi but less smooth + you need to purchase an ottoman separately as it is just a glider, not a recliner.
Harbour Natural Flange Nursery Swivel Glider Chair seemed similar to the one by Leanne Ford’s glider minus the slipcover.
I also tried out Paxton Swivel glider and recliner at Pottery barn and was really impressed, imho it’s the most comfy chair of all I’ve tried! It’s also the most expensive of the lot so I am still on the fence.
I am seriously considering Storkraft timeless recliner + glider (it’s available at a great price at Wayfair right now, Wayfair always has very good early cyber week deals) & Chita power recliner (great reviews on Amazon and it looks good too!).

My decorations from last year - can’t wait to put up the tree 🌲 asap! We’re always doing a mix of real evergreens and conifers (like these cypress garlands) with a faux tree from National tree company (ours is pre-lit, on sale at Amazon right now). I add Stargazer lights from Anthropologie to my wreaths and garlands (takes me about 10-15 minutes per garland and a little longer to take it all down so if you want to save time get the ones from Magnolia or Crate and Barrel, they have that great real fur feel and they last so definitely worth the splurge). I am thinking about the second tree this year (just a table top tree, I really loved the one from Pottery Barn, it’s so pretty, feels high quality and it’s pretty-lit too. I really loved the ornaments I got last year from The White Company, their new collection looks just as good, especially memory baubles.
I found these amazing Mercury Glass Christmas Ornaments on Amazon and they’re so gorgeous! Make sure to also get some velvet ribbon to add that chic vintage feeling.

Imho 🌲🎄 the best splurge/high end/long lasting faux trees 🌲 money can buy right now are from Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn & Balsam Hill. I really loved the table top faux potted pine tree from Pottery Barn, it’s SO beautiful and feels absolutely real + the lights feel magical and unobtrusive. Great budget option: National tree company- pre-lit faux Christmas tree (same tabletop size as Pottery Barn) starts at $25.99 (and it’s on sale at Amazon right now).
I actually own a National Tree Company Pre-Lit 'Feel Real' Artificial Full Downswept Christmas Tree (6.5 feet) and I couldn’t be happier with it. At this moment it seeks for half the price of Balsam Hill and I think it has amazing value for money.
I usually buy real garlands and wreaths every year and use my Anthropologie Stargazer Twinkling Rose Gold Twine Lights.

A perfectly pretty pair of boots for narrow feet: Loeffler Randall Raquel boots.
I tried on the pair in suede (the color is called: bracco, it’s like a camel 🐪 brown).

I don’t know how I missed these before: Jeffrey Campbell Fathom flat is a perfect dupe of The Row Eva ballerinas that’s also going to wear better since they have rubber soles vs the leather ones the way The Row flats 🥿 do.
They’re soft, the leather feels super nice, they’re pretty comfy and very elegant. They’re definitely quite flat and run a little small (I’d go half a size up bc the leather is soft and will probably stretch a little).

When I got my MAX MARA 101801 Madame Icon Coat in moss green last winter I was sure I’d love it but I wasn’t sure it would be a practical piece and I am glad I was wrong.
I unzip the garment bag (in which it arrives when you get it) as soon as the temperature goes below 60 and I wear it whenever I feel like I want to feel cozy, comfortable, casual but also elegant. Yup, I walk the dogs in it, sit by the fire, wear it on my nights out over a gown and it does it all. Just dry clean it once a season and it’s good as new. Oh and it’s happily and easily taking me throughout my maternity journey as it is so roomy! Similar looking style (and more affordable: Aritzia Babaton The Slouch coat).

Relaxed, oversized, thick knit and chunky: this is how I’d describe this season’s perfect cardigan.
Frame grand father shawl alpaca cardigan is pure perfection but is a bit pricey (if you want to get it do get it from Neiman Marcus rn and get up to $650 off your purchase with code NOVSAVE) I also found a few gorgeous looking pieces that are almost as chic and cozy but also won’t break the bank!
