I just started my nursery shopping! After talking to many parents I know a glider or a recliner is a very important purchase and you’re going to use it a lot so I went to Crate and Barrel and Pottery Barn and started testing. Babyletto Kiwi Cream Nursery Power Glider Recliner Chair is considered to be one of the best ones out there at the moment so I sat in it for quite a bit. I have to say it does glide very smoothly but I didn’t like how my back felt and it seems like it could be more comfortable for someone taller (that was my impression). Loved the fabric and the look though! Ever Slipcovered Striped Nursery Glider Chair by Leanne Ford is the most beautiful nursery chair I’ve seen so far. When I was looking through baby room furniture I wanted to get everything from Leanne Ford’s collab with Crate and Barrel. I found it to be more comfortable to sit in than the Babyletto Kiwi but less smooth + you need to purchase an ottoman separately as it is just a glider, not a recliner. Harbour Natural Flange Nursery Swivel Glider Chair seemed similar to the one by Leanne Ford’s glider minus the slipcover. I also tried out Paxton Swivel glider and recliner at Pottery barn and was really impressed, imho it’s the most comfy chair of all I’ve tried! It’s also the most expensive of the lot so I am still on the fence. I am seriously considering Storkraft timeless recliner + glider (it’s available at a great price at Wayfair right now, Wayfair always has very good early cyber week deals) & Chita power recliner (great reviews on Amazon and it looks good too!).
