๐๐๐ง๐ซ๐: Romance / Mystery / Womenโs Fiction
Summers at the Saint was probably my favorite summer book for 2024 (It got me out of a reading slump ๐๐ฝ) Itโs romance, itโs family drama, itโs mystery, itโs general fiction all wrapped up into a great read. For over 400 pages, it was steady-paced with twists and turns that I didnโt see coming. Personally, I loved that the book focused more on the mystery aspect with just a touch of romance. Before reading this book, I had the opportunity to attend a book signing with MKA, who said the book has themes of belonging and longing, and those are evident as we read the POVs of multiple characters - complete strangers coming together after a murder takes place at the resort where they work. Summers at the Saint is perfect for a beach vacation, for a staycation, for chilling in the AC, or for enjoying on a rainy day.
