It’s been such a sweet weekend celebrating love with Alana and Ryan! 💫🤍 It’s reminded me of one of my favorite lessons the bride taught me years ago. Alana and I are cousins and about the same age, but she graduated from law school a few years before me. I turned to her for advice and encouragement early and often, including when I was very anxious about the LSAT, and I distinctly remember her telling me that I could let applying to law school, being a law student, or being an attorney take over my life at that moment or at any moment in the future. She gave the perspective I needed that choosing not to freak out was something I would have many opportunities to practice going forward. It’s advice that continues to ring true for me today, and I wanted to share in case it might resonated with you, too. 🤗 I could go on and on about @alanajoyyce’s accomplishments over the years as an attorney 👩‍💼, dancer 🩰, marathoner 🏃‍♀️, musician 🎶, chef 🍝, cat lover 🐈, and overall enthusiast for all things that bring more zest to life 🍋, but most of all I admire how she shows up for and supports the ones the loves, and I couldn’t be happier that she found such an incredible partner to build a beautiful life with.
