SAMOAS OVERNIGHT OATS are so delicious, packed with protein and taste just like a Samoas cookie but for breakfast! 🥥🍫 Here is how to make them: • ½ cup old fashioned rolled oats • ¾ - 1 cup light coconut milk or unsweetened almond milk • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, I used Active Stacks • 1 Tbsp unsweetened toasted shredded coconut, plus more for topping • ½ Tbsp date caramel, plus more for topping • 1 tsp chia seeds • ½ tsp vanilla extract • pinch of sea salt • 1 Tbsp chocolate chips (I used Lily’s) • Toppings: toasted coconut, date caramel and chopped chocolate (or chocolate chips) 1️⃣ Combine all ingredients except the toppings in a small container or mason jar. 2️⃣ Cover the container with a lid and place in the fridge overnight (or at least 1-2 hours). 3️⃣ Bring out of the fridge in the morning and stir. You'll notice that the protein powder, oats and chia seeds soak up a lot of the liquid so you may want to add a little more milk before serving (esp if you use plant based protein powder). 4️⃣ Top with toasted shredded coconut, a drizzle of date caramel and chopped chocolate or chocolate chips.
