Ok so this was one of the easiest DIYs I found and I’m sure you’ve seen it before! 🎃 All you need is: - a hot glue gun - string lights - clear plastic ornaments balls - and a cauldron It only took me about 15 mins to finish it and I think it came out so cute!!! #AD I’ve been finding it hard to get out of the house and workout lately. With Wade’s busy work schedule and Omi being home with me, working out at home just makes more sense for me! I've been loving the @theburnapp by Cara Loren and Omi even joins in with me if I have a late start to my workout for the day.

There are several workout categories (ie. Pregnancy, HIIT, weight loss, etc.) on the app so you can tailor your workouts to what you need. I have been doing the HIIt routines and the instructions on how to do each workout is so clear and easily explained.

Finally got a chance to update our tv wall. I originally had some shelves from IKEA hanging above the wall, but it just didn’t make a statement like I wanted it too. I picked up this mantle from @wayfair and it was stained in this red oak color, so I sanded it down so it would be closer to the color of the tv console I already had.

Wade had to leave after we took the older shelves down and I was able to hang the mantle all by myself 💪🏾

I located all five studs in the wall and mounted the wall piece the mantle attached to first. This mantle is super secured to the wall so I don’t have to worry about it falling and hurting anyone or damaging our tv.

I hung an art piece from @target and printed out a large print I purchased off @etsy . Of course I added in some cute metal framed photos I took for our kids birthday this year from @artifactuprising

I think it looks so much better and I can’t wait to change it up for the holidays! ✨ What do you think? Does a mantle work over a TV?

#AD Summer is such a fun time for our family, but with all the outdoor and water activities it can take a toll on my hair. Wearing a protective style, like my twist, refreshes are necessary to keep my natural hair healthy. @keracareofficial Natural Textures Line is great for refreshes like this. We finally found the perfect couch for our family! I have been wanting to upgrade our sofa in our living room for a long time now. Our previous sofa was a bit too low for the grandparents and just fit so much better into our playroom. The sofa we picked up from Wayfair and it’s by Joss and Maine. I love it because it’s a recliner sofa that has two recliners on the end and fits our entire family and then some. Now just a few curtains to hang then I will be on to my next project of updating our bar in our dining room 🤩
