Craft week was so fun that we are going to continue it this week! This is one of my favorite DIYs so far. It’s so easy to do and here is everything you need:

- Cardboard

I decided to try something different on our @kingofchristmas 9’ Royal Fir Quick-Shape Christmas Tree and so I bought some tinsel fringe and cute them into 1” strips so there would be less mess. I wanted to go for more of a moody look into this space and I feel like it gave the tree such a glam and ghostly look that I really love!

An easy holiday decor hack to update your artwork without buy new ones! I just wrapped them with wrapping paper that matched my decor style and used painters tape so could easily remove the paper and reuse it next year if I wanted to!

We had so much fun picking out these pretty ocean creatures for the twins’ tree! We even found a really cute Christmas book called Santa Jaws about a Great White Shark who delivers presents to different ocean creatures. Ok so this was one of the easiest DIYs I found and I’m sure you’ve seen it before! 🎃

All you need is:
- a hot glue gun
- string lights
- clear plastic ornaments balls
- and a cauldron

It only took me about 15 mins to finish it and I think it came out so cute!!! If you’re looking for an easy DIY you can make with the kids, this is definitely the one! ✨✨✨ Happy Spooky Season! 🦇

#AD I’ve been finding it hard to get out of the house and workout lately. With Wade’s busy work schedule and Omi being home with me, working out at home just makes more sense for me! I've been loving the @theburnapp by Cara Loren and Omi even joins in with me if I have a late start to my workout for the day.

There are several workout categories (ie. Pregnancy, HIIT, weight loss, etc.) on the app so you can tailor your workouts to what you need. I have been doing the HIIt routines and the instructions on how to do each workout is so clear and easily explained.

Finally got a chance to update our tv wall. I originally had some shelves from IKEA hanging above the wall, but it just didn’t make a statement like I wanted it too. I picked up this mantle from @wayfair and it was stained in this red oak color, so I sanded it down so it would be closer to the color of the tv console I already had.

Wade had to leave after we took the older shelves down and I was able to hang the mantle all by myself 💪🏾

I located all five studs in the wall and mounted the wall piece the mantle attached to first. This mantle is super secured to the wall so I don’t have to worry about it falling and hurting anyone or damaging our tv.

I hung an art piece from @target and printed out a large print I purchased off @etsy . Of course I added in some cute metal framed photos I took for our kids birthday this year from @artifactuprising

I think it looks so much better and I can’t wait to change it up for the holidays! ✨ What do you think? Does a mantle work over a TV?
