We're fishing in Vermont, using handmade flies, including my favorite chartreuse ones. This is our fourth time fly fishing after Colorado, Tennessee, and Maine. While we didn't catch anything, it was a great afternoon! I actually thought I was catching a fish but it was a leaf.

We checked into a beautiful Vermont inn with our dear friends. I'm relieved to see healthy food options after consuming plenty of maple sugar, one of my favorite candies. No apple picking necessary! The crisp air and peaking foliage make it ideal sweater weather. I'm wearing navy, a perfect fall color, in a matching sweater and pants. My go-to look, or 'uniform,' for years has been a navy blazer, white shirt, straight-leg jeans, and recently, ballet flats to complete the look. Last year, when I shared my leopard ballet flats, I wasn't sure if the look would carry over to fall, but I'm thrilled that it did. I love the combo of all these pieces.
