Fall is definitely my favorite time of year! I love the color changes in the leaves. The air is so crisp, and it's still sweater weather. My kids used to love playing in the leaves; so do I. Army green is a favorite, especially when paired with camo pieces. As the temperature drops, I prefer a turtleneck for warmth but still love a crew neck.

We're fishing in Vermont, using handmade flies, including my favorite chartreuse ones. This is our fourth time fly fishing after Colorado, Tennessee, and Maine. While we didn't catch anything, it was a great afternoon! I actually thought I was catching a fish but it was a leaf.

We checked into a beautiful Vermont inn with our dear friends. I'm relieved to see healthy food options after consuming plenty of maple sugar, one of my favorite candies. No apple picking necessary!
