Let me start by saying if you’re going on a plane trip soon, don’t read this lol. 18 year old Izzy Astor and 19 year old Nate Phelan wind up sitting next to each other on a flight, both traveling for different reasons. Shortly after takeoff, the plane goes down in the cold waters of the Missouri river. While both survive, their lives are changed forever because of each other. Nate goes into the military and Izzy goes into politics, and over the next 10 years they have a few random encounters, until the last chance encounter when they randomly meet in Afghanistan when Nate is tasked with guarding Izzy’s life. What happened between the two, and can they finally get the timing right!? I haven’t read a book that held my attention like this in AGES!
