107. Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson :: 4.75/5⭐️ the second installment in the good girls guide to murder series follows Pip as she solves another mystery. Her friend Conners brother, Jamie, has gone missing and the police won’t do anything, so it’s up to Pip to find out what’s going on. Her search sends her on a wild goose chase, but can she find Jamie? And is he dead or alive!? I loved this book too!! I gave book one 5 stars and for this one to come I’m a close second is pretty darn good! Again the story seemed way older then it’s main characters year and it really held my interest. The last half of the book picked up very quickly and had me reading so fast! Definitely recommend this series, now I can’t wait to read the last one!

American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins :: 4.75/5⭐️ Lydia and her son Luca live comfortable with her husband in Acapulco, Mexico and when a drug cartel murders her entire family at her nieces quincenera, she and Luca flee north to escape their own fate. This immaculately written book tells the story of their journey, who they meet and what happens as they try to escape to the United States. I kept seeing this book on Libby and passed it by so many times thinking I wasn’t going to like it. Then I saw its 4.3 star rating on good reads and decided to give it a try, and I’m SO glad I did!! This book really had my heart beating, and I really felt the characters pain, anguish, and fear. I expected it to be sad, but it wasn’t. It kind of reminded me a little bit of The Hate U Give. I highly recommend if you’re a fan of that book too.

105. Ninth House by Leigh Bartugo :: 3.5/5⭐️ Alex is Yales newest Freshman, but not for reasons you would think. She has been offered a full ride, but for her abilities, which are paranormal in nature. She has to monitor Yales secret societies. Going to be honest, this book didn’t really hold my attention. I will read the sequel, but this one just kind of fell flat for me.

104. Pucking Around by Emily Rath :: 3.75/5⭐️. This was hands down the spiciest book i’ve ever read in my entire life, we’re talking 85% of a 21+ hour book was spice. Also probably the most unrealistic one 🤣. I also had no clue what I was getting myself into.

103. That One Night by Emily Rath :: 4/5⭐️ this prequel was included in the Pucking Around audiobook. Rachel Price is on her way home from her brothers wedding and she just got bad news. She has a chance encounter with a strange with no strings or names attached. If the spice level of this book is any indication of how the next book in the series is going to go, all I have to say is 😳.

The Cloisters by Katy Hays :: 4.25/5⭐️ Ann Stillwell gets an opportunity to work in NYC at The Cloisters, it’s there that she is immersed in the world of Renaissance and Medieval art Tarot, and all the secrets the building holds. But when a coworkers turns up dead, the mystery comes alive and everyone is a suspect. We love the cloisters and surrounding area and are very familiar with it, so this was an awesome book to read! I also loved the mystery behind it.

101. The Good Lie by A.R. Torre :: 3.75/5⭐️ the Bloody Heart Killer preys on young popular good looking boys and once the boys are taken, it’s not long before their body’s turn up dismembered and mutilated, that is until his 7th victim escapes and makes it back home to his parents house. He names the killer as a teacher at his school, but a defense attorney and one of the victims fathers is not satisfied with that. He reaches out to Gwen, a psychiatrist who specializes in patients with violent tendencies to dissect the case. This book was definitely twisty, and if I read this a couple of years ago it would have gotten a higher rating, so I recommend if you’re new to the thriller world! But it was a quick read, and I loved how the author built up the suspense.
