Everybody knows Bellini, but have you ever tried Rossini? Named after the 19th Italian composer Gioacchino Rossini, it’s a cocktail made with pureed strawberries and Prosecco. This cocktail is sophisticated and evokes Spring with its notes of delicate flavors dancing together on your palate, and I have the perfect glass to enjoy it! Villeroy and Boch, the world-famous European company synonymous with upmarket aesthetics and incredible quality since 1748, sent me this beautiful set of crystal wine goblets from the Rose Garden collection that are so pretty and delicate! They are perfect for sipping wine and the right size to make a sparkling cocktail like this. They quickly became a staple on my tablescapes, and I’ll show you more soon!
Here’s the recipe for 4 cocktails:
1 box of strawberries
1 bottle of Prosecco
2oz of Simple syrup
Cut the strawberries, and put them in a blender.
Add 2 ½ oz of pureed strawberries in a glass(1 part), add ½ oz of simple syrup, and top with Prosecco (2 parts). Garnish with strawberries, and enjoy!
