Are Hermès belts worth it? Their leathers, hardware, and craftsmanship are all up to very high standards. The belts are not hand stitched, and for about $1,000, you could get a hand-stitched belt. The question, as always, is how much refinement are you seeking. It really is fun to think about the color and buckle combinations. But there’s something about communicating the price too loudly, even without a logo. I did find belts that lend this vibe of meticulous minimalism but at more competitive prices.
