The Nordstrom’s sweater is lightweight and very beautifully done. It’s got a delicate, gorgeous drape. Bloomingdale’s cashmere is a pass and not in the same category.

Uniqlo has the best classic sweater - i scrunch up the sleeves and play with the waist to modernize it. Lots of colors are on sale.

And a bunch of excellent Banana Republic cashmere sweaters are on sale, with an extra 20% off.

Yayyy! My favorites at Massimo Dutti are on sale!

The trench in my usual size S was too small (shoulders too tight). I’m getting it in a medium.

My shoe size is 38.5. The correct way for me to order their shoes in the US: size 8. The shoes are marked eu 39, which is my usual strategy for full sizes and fits well here. I first ordered size 39 on the website, and they shipped size 40 eu, which was too big. I love their shoes.

I’m wearing size small in the abstract leopard midi, and the top in size small is great, too (it’s a relaxed fit).

I’m getting the capris! Glad they’re back in stock. I missed out on them last spring.

As of today, the price of gold is $85.61 per gram, and sterling silver is $0.9904 per gram. It’s fascinating to compare the price of jewelry from new to preloved, and I appreciate that The Real Real lists the weight in grams for each piece.

1. Hermes’ necklace is 18k gold. J.Crew’s pieces are brass, gold-plated recycled zinc, and cubic zirconia.

2. Both Hermes and Etsy use sterling silver. The Etsy mariner necklaces are come in 4.6mm to 14mm; the Hermès necklace is 10mm wide.

3. The Herakles Knot Ring from The Met Store is 14K gold plate over 925 Sterling silver base. Hermès’ ring is 18k gold.

4. The Hermès bracelet is sterling silver, and Mango is 100% zinc.

5. The Hermès necklace is 18k gold, and Mango uses 85% brass, 8% stainless steel, 5% zinc, 2% acrylic.

I saw this J.Crew jacket in person. It’s well done. The trims look good, too. I love that my Mango jacket is soft, so it drapes well. Wear it closed to avoid the warping along the edges.
