Is the Margaux bag officially an It-bag? How do you like it? Ludicrously capacious or finally large enough? (The one in the video is the 15” size. They do start at 10”) A refined, high-quality look is achievable much more easily with clothes than with shoes and bags. It’s hard to get a mid-range leather to look good enough for anything more than a trim, and the workmanship falls short in really obvious tells. And mid-range bags are not cheap imo. $600 is a significant sum of money, no? Instead of going for a bag that translates a trend, I prefer to find a design target that fits my budget. I look for the construction level that my budget can honorably achieve. I’d rather get the $20 Uniqlo nylon bag than a $600 bag with glaring shortcomings.
