Primary Bathroom Details & What I’d Do Differently 🤍 I realized I’ve never shared many stills of our primary bathroom here, so I thought it was time! Whether you’re planning a remodel, starting a new build, or just love home details, I hope these details (and a few lessons learned) are helpful. I remember how overwhelming it was to source everything when we were building—so hopefully, this saves you a little time! Flooring: Wood-look tile floors: Daltile Gainswood in Hickory, grout color: “Latte.” I absolutely love this flooring! With so much white in the space, the warmth of the wood-look tile really helps to ground the room. Vanity & Paint: Bathroom Vanity: This was custom-made by a local cabinet company and painted in their version of white, which closely matches Benjamin Moore White Dove. Wall Color: Benjamin Moore White Dove this is one thing I’d change. Without my paint swatches handy, I picked shower tiles that are a crisp white—and they make the walls look off-white in comparison. Lesson learned: Always take your paint samples with you when selecting tiles! Shower & Countertops: Shower Wall Tile: Polished ceramic, 12x24” (brand unknown). Countertop: LX Houses Soprano Quartz remnant. Bathtub & Faucet: Freestanding Tub: Ours is a double slipper bathtub from Signature Hardware, but it’s been discontinued. A similar option is the Rosalind Soaking Tub. Ours is 72”, and honestly, it’s a bit too long for me (I’m 5’5” and tend to slide down in it). If I could do it over, I’d choose a smaller size. Tub Faucet: Signature Hardware Deck Mounted Tub Filler Faucet with Cross Handles and Lever Diverter (Includes Hand Shower). The hand shower is the best—it’s perfect for washing my daughter’s hair and makes cleaning the tub so much easier. I use it all the time! Décor:
