I’d set an alarm, let it snooze a million times (which my husband LOVEDDDD btw 😆) and feel all sleepy-bummed because I didn’t actually get up. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 I turned my attention to these things FIRST to make my MomMorningRoutine actually happen — 🍽️ reset your kitchen and main living space. You have to be excited to get up early, not feel dreaded to get up early and do chores. Make the decision to get dishes out of the sink, a dishwasher running, clear counters, etc. Reset so you can enjoy your morning time. 🛌Create an early bedtime, 10pm at the latest…. Aiming for 7-9 hours of rest. 📱📺Limit screen time 1 hour before bed… reducing blue light supports the natural production of melatonin, essential for quality sleep. 📝Plan your morning the night before — Streamline your morning routine by planning priorities and tasks the night before. Reduce the distraction of decision making in the morning. 📚Set up a command station - before bed have your water cup, Bible, journal, workout clothes, and whatever else you need for morning ready to go. 💥🚀Try the 5 second rule to get out of bed. When the alarm goes off, count backward and get up to begin your day.
