Have you ever tried using your eyebrow pencil as eyeliner? It’s a great way to really give you a subtle line and soft definition. So, if you can’t find your eyeliner, you can always try using your eyebrow pencil…just note that it’s going to be waxier/harder texture and not give you as much color payoff (which could be a bonus’s if you want really natural eyeliner).

Should you wear a bronzer in the fall/winter?

I’ve had this question come up a couple of times so I thought I would share my insight below. The long and the short of it is: YES! And here’s why…

Bronzer can be a great way to add warmth and color to your face in the cooler months. That doesn’t mean you necessarily need to look like you’ve been on vacation, but, adding soft warmth can really bring your skin back to life! Here are some tips for bronzer in the Fall/Winter:

Choose a lighter shade than you would in the summer: Use a bronzer that’s only a shade or two darker than your natural skin tone.

Apply it to the right places: Apply bronzer to areas where the sun would naturally hit, like your cheekbones, temples, forehead, and nose.

Use a bigger brush that is less dense to ensure you’re not going to heavy.

Make sure your face and body are the same shade by blending out the bronzer wherever your skin is visible.

Try a cream or liquid bronzer if you have normal to dry skin!

Makeup tip of the day! Follow for more easy and everyday makeup ☺️

Powder can do amazing things when it comes to makeup, but for a lot of people, you don’t necessarily need it all over your face. I like to apply powder on the areas where I get a little shiny (in my t-zone) and areas where I have a little bit of texture— otherwise, on the areas that I don’t need it, I like to keep the natural glow shining through my skin. Using a smaller firm dense brush can really help get the powder to those smaller areas.

And, don’t get me wrong, if you need powder, use it!

Here is how I like to apply a stick foundation. Follow for more easy & everyday makeup and share this with a friend ☺️

You can definitely apply the stick directly to your skin BUT, doing it that way can potentially make you work harder to blend it out and sometimes leave you with patchy makeup. Try using a firm dense brush and warm the product on the back of your hand or a palette first. This will help give you a soft buildable natural finish.

Don’t get me wrong, I do love powder bronzer, but sometimes you just want to throw on a little bit of color to your skin and keep it moving. I love applying a cream or liquid bronzer because it’s really easy to apply and gives you a beautiful natural warmth to your skin.

If you do tend to get a little bit more oily, you can always set it with a powder bronzer or translucent powder to lock it in!

If you want to look like you’ve put more effort into your eye makeup while saving time in the morning, try applying the same blush you used on your cheeks to your eyes! Take a large fluffy brush and sweep it across your lids, up to your crease. Not only will this tie the look together, but it’ll also look like you put way more effort into your eye makeup!

Once you’ve applied your eyeliner, take a small brush and either spay some setting spray on it or tap some translucent powder into the brush — then lightly press both spray or powder over your eyeliner!

Ok, this might not be that crazy to most, but have you tried applying lip liner all over your lips? I recently had a client tell me they have never done this AND that they were actually scared of lip liner!!!

Lip liner is such an underrated makeup product in my opinion. It can definitely be intimidating, especially when we’ve seen so many different and distinctive ways to wear it over the years (I’m looking at you, 90s 👀).

But I believe it can be a powerful tool…so, here’s why you should try applying all over your lips:
✔️ It can create the illusion of fuller lips
✔️ It can help any lip product you apply over it, last much longer
✔️ You can wear alone like a lip stain to give your lips some natural lip color
✔️ It can help prevent other lip products from bleeding or feathering
✔️ it will define and enhance your lip shape

If you take an angled brush with some eyeshadow, then press it on your lash line, you get the most beautiful, soft, clean line! Give it a try and follow for more easy and every day makeup 🥰

If you do experience any fallout or have issues with the eyeshadow staying on your eyes, try spraying a little bit of makeup setting spray on to your angle brush first. Not only will this give you a more defined line, but it will make it last so much longer! I can definitely do a video if you’d like to see how to do it.
