Winged eyeliner can absolutely be terrifying, especially if you have hooded eyes like I do. I find adding a baby Wing not only gives you a little lift to your eyes, but it’s easier to do!

Ok, this might not be that crazy to most, but have you tried applying lip liner all over your lips? I recently had a client tell me they have never done this AND that they were actually scared of lip liner!!!

Lip liner is such an underrated makeup product in my opinion. It can definitely be intimidating, especially when we’ve seen so many different and distinctive ways to wear it over the years (I’m looking at you, 90s 👀).

But I believe it can be a powerful tool…so, here’s why you should try applying all over your lips:
✔️ It can create the illusion of fuller lips
✔️ It can help any lip product you apply over it, last much longer
✔️ You can wear alone like a lip stain to give your lips some natural lip color
✔️ It can help prevent other lip products from bleeding or feathering
✔️ it will define and enhance your lip shape

If you take an angled brush with some eyeshadow, then press it on your lash line, you get the most beautiful, soft, clean line! Give it a try and follow for more easy and every day makeup 🥰

If you do experience any fallout or have issues with the eyeshadow staying on your eyes, try spraying a little bit of makeup setting spray on to your angle brush first. Not only will this give you a more defined line, but it will make it last so much longer! I can definitely do a video if you’d like to see how to do it.

If you’re like me, you don’t like streaky foundation 🫣! I usually press my foundation into my skin to help prevent the streaks, but I’ve been using this foundation brush, and it really does glide your foundation into your skin without looking like a streaky mess! I’m really impressed with this brush so if you are in the market for a new foundation brush, this is a good one! P.S. I also like to use it for any cream or liquid products as well.

Adding an inner corner highlight really can make your eyes pop! It’s one of those things where you don’t necessarily need additional eyeshadow…you can just add it to the inner corner of your eyes and it will brighten them up with minimal effort! This what a call a “BLUSH TOPPER”! Using the smallest amount of a very vibrant blush to add a little extra pop to your cheeks. It works great on its own, but I love to add the smallest amount over top of any neutral blush and bronzer I’ve already applied! I just feel like it adds a little some extra without going over the top ☺️

Quick tip when you want your makeup to stay on in the heat. Try using two different makeup setting sprays or layering your makeup setting spray (after foundation and then another round at the end). I went to an outdoor concert recently and my makeup didn’t move 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Concealer is totally fine to cover up blemishes but have you tried using your foundation? I like doing this when I only have one or two blemishes. It will give your skin the same finish as the rest of your face and completely match what you’ve already applied! Would you try this?

I tried this new to me liquid highlighter by Essence and here are my thoughts…FYI, it retails for $5.99.

Overall, it gives a really natural glow. Not shimmery or glittery! It looked really beautiful in natural lighting. I’d say it lasted most of the day, but I need to wear it a little bit more. The one thing I didn’t love about it was the smell. It kind of smelled like chemicals, but it went away after I applied it. So if you’re not sensitive to smells, I definitely recommend giving this one a try!

I absolutely love @lauramercier loose powder and have used it for years! Over the last year, I’ve gotten away from using loose powder, but this one is supposed to blur and brighten so, I couldn’t wait to try it. This shade: ROSE is for light to median skin tones. They also have a darker shade for medium to deep skin tones as well.
