First look sweater is this extremely popular sweater by free people Second look used the flare corduroy pants and a plaid blazer that’s on sale for 3 color rule. Great for work! Last look is faux leather dress with red western boots that are under $50! Second look, wearing 1) Sweater as a scarf- while many of have done this in a “I’m cold” emergency, wearing your sweater as a scarf is a trending styling tip we’ve seen this year on our favorite inspo boards. 2) 3 color rule🤎🤍🖤 2 color outfits are good, monochrome is great but playing around with 3 color combinations can unlock tons of outfits. Some thought starters are: -burgundy, black, camel (as shown here) -camel, navy, ivory - forest green, blue, brown 3) wrong shoe theory👠🥾- if you remember when “sneakers with everything” became very popular circa 2018, then one can apply a similar styling approach with western boots, a big trend for fall 2024 (and always if you ask me). 😊 Disclaimers: this series was developed from a desire to be re-inspired with basics that many of us have and utilize fresh styling ideas and tools that are “new season”.
