This is my favorite way to make a Manhattan — served in an ice-cold cocktail coupe glass from the freezer 🙃
I always make a Manhattan with Rye Whiskey (Bulleit is a fav) but if you prefer a sweeter route, you can substitute Bourbon. For the sweet vermouth, you can never go wrong with Dolin. And the cherry on top (literally) should normally be brandied, but I typically opt for Amerana Cherries in Syrup — they taste incredible!
