Shine, Texture, Pores… Be Gone! 🪄✨

This is a really helpful trick for those of us with shiney textured areas on our skin. I personally have enlarged pores around my nose due to having an oilier skin content on my T-Zone. So, I love to use a light dusting of translucent powder and ‘spot/target powder’ certain areas…not the whole face as you’ll totally mattify your look otherwise. It’s very important it’s translucent or transparent powder…nothing with colour, so as not to change the colour of your makeup underneath. I love a loose powder personally but compacts are great too as they’re a handy carry for you handbag. A finely milled translucent powder on a powder puff, PRESSED into the skin, not rubbed, will take away shine and minimise the appearance of pores and texture. Please bare in mind that the key here is to put as little powder on as possible!!! So tap off the excess until you think you have no powder left on the puff … sounds odd but this is a good gauge. Otherwise you can mattify too much and in turn, the makeup can cake or gather! Trust me, tap off the excess until you think the puff has nothing on it and I promise it will have a veil of powder left, enough to set and cover all these aspects beautifully ✨ Yes, you can use a loose powder brush - I love these triangular powder puffs as the fit up into the eye area, and fit the crease around the nose etc.. they’re just a fantastic addition for target powdering 🤩
Products:
✨ @byterryofficial Hyaluronic Hydra Powder Transparent/Translucent (LOVE this powder as it’s sooo super fine and hydrates as it sets with the Hyaluronic Acid element - you can’t really get a better powder and it lasts FOREVER as you only need to use a tiny amount) & ✨@brushworksuk Triangular Powder Puff
