We've been bobing and weaving a new French drain system through some roots on the yard, and are big fans of this pre-wrapped corrugated pipe for drainage. We were able to find everything we needed at Lowe's!

When working with an asymmetrical floorplan, sometimes you've got to get creative with the furniture.We've got at least seven people to seat off we want to watch a movie together, but the TV isn't directly adjacent to the where we're placing the living room sofa.One plan that we're really digging is a sofa that's angled or curved towards our TV wall, without jutting out too far into the room.Here's are a few of the options we've been exploring that give us the shape we're looking for!

We always get a lot of interest in this wall produce storage unit when it shows up on our feed.They don't make it anymore, but we rounded up some options that would work for a similar look.We had this unit at our old house and made sure to design the new kitchen to make space for it - we love it that much!**TIP** Don't neglect to use your wall space for storage, especially in the kitchen! Counter space is usually at a premium anyway

We've been on a minor rollercoaster the last few days with moving some beds around, but it looks like everything will unexpectedly be in its new place by Christmas.

Jim built this cool wooden bed back at our old house, but we're finally moving it down from our primary bedroom to the guest room and switching over to a new king size.

One of these would be such a great activity for Christmas Eve/Day, or even that long week off from school before New Year's

I definitely recommend a set of larger crayons with this!
