Non-toxic food storage options for every type of food! The most important thing to avoid when it comes to food storage is plastic. Below you’ll find options using glass, stainless steel, silicone, organic cotton, and beeswax! 1) glass food storage containers - great for microwave or oven use and easily cleaned in the dishwasher. 2) stainless steel is a sleek option that is lighter weight than glass. We prefer glass so we can see the contents inside, but this is a great option too! 3) souper cubes! We LOVE these! They come in different sizes so you can freeze individual portions of soups or casseroles. 4) beeswax wrap is a great way to wrap items like cheese blocks, half used onions, etc. They also are great for covering bowls with a seal (think Saran press n seal but non toxic and reusable) 5) organic cotton produce saver bag. I am so intrigued and will be trying this! You lightly wet the bag but your produce inside, and then store it in your refrigerator crisper drawer. It is supposed to keep produce fresher longer and I am here for it! 6) silicone bowl covers are an easy way to cover bowls and avoid using plastic wrap. We love these and the assorted sizes make it easy to cover any bowl size. I’ve also added other items like reusable ziploc bags, to truly meet any food storage need you may have!
