It was a quick read, and I actually haven’t read the other 4 books in this series yet. It can def be read as a standalone! I’m going to go back and read books 1-4, as I know some of the characters from there make appearances in The Dalton Family series. Bale is hired (and gets paid $3 million) to watch Pepper. But of course he ends up falling for her in this insta-love world. Marni say this book is a “snack”, and that means you need to grab some Flamin’ Hot Cheetos as this was 😮‍💨!
