I know many of you have visceral reactions to the barrel jeans. I personally love them, and incidentally, that’s how you should feel about your clothing. If you love it, wear it. Who cares what others think. I tucked the neck of this buttery leather topper in to create a v neck and balance the barrel of the pant. My trusty vintage beads and bag finished the look.

It’s no secret that I LOVE dresses with pockets. It’s great to have somewhere to put lipstick or mints, but more often than not, pockets add extra bulk to the area that most of us do not want any extra bulk.

@ME+EM has mastered the dress/skirt pocket situation!! Each piece is so well designed, you truly would not know that the pockets are even there. Fashionable AND functional? Yes please!!

We celebrated my mother-in-law‘s birthday in Florida and it was insanely hot! We were supposed to eat dinner outside, so I needed some thing that would hide my sweat. So I opted for a navy dress. I’ve had this one for a few years and love the one shoulder detail. Then they moved our dinner to inside where the air conditioning was on full blast. I’m so glad I packed a coordinating sweater to keep me warm in the AC.
