It’s definitely more feeling like summer around our house (we got a pretty new blue and white rug that can hopefully hold up to our crazy dogs!) but more importantly, it feels more like HOME! . I’ve never lived anywhere longer than six years, so it’s a really good feeling to be so settled. We are also settling into our rhythms. Having had many seasons here, we look forward to each one returning for different reasons. We are surrounded by so much natural beauty this time of year! On a sunny late spring weekend there are often dozens of boats outside sailing on the water and the scent of lilacs and salty air flow in the breeze of our open windows. It’s not a perfect home — but it continues to nurture, surprise and delight us in unexpected ways.
