HOW I DID IT 👇🏼
This dresser actually come from my own home! My boyfriend got it during one of his military assignments & it’s survived several moves since. It’s been sitting in our guest room and I finally decided to give it the makeover it always deserved! ✨🥰
When I first started working on it I noticed “piggly squiggles” on it, which are basically marks from a sander if too hard of pressure or too low of a grit was used. So it seems the previous owner attempted to restore it but didn’t do the most high quality job. So here’s how I fixed it! 👇🏼
+ cleaned with krud kutter
+ chipped off old peeling veneer
+ repaired missing veneer with bondo woodfiller
+ sanded using my @surfprepsanding 3x4 electric ray (FURNITUREDR10 for 10% off)
+ sealed wood with oil based polyurethane
+ used furniture painting repair kit to paint bondo to match sealed wood
+ painted the front frame & veneer banding with Ash from fusion mineral paint diy LTKDIY amazonfinds
